Alexander McNabb - Alexanders nasty book writing habit led to him writing hi-tech comedy thriller Space which topped out at Harper Collins Authonomy, before writing serious Middle East novel Olives A Violent Romance. A second serious novel, spy thriller Beirut, landed him an agent. This hasnt stopped him self-publishing Olives, which is available on Kindle , Smashwords and Amazon.com internationally and can be purchased locally through Jashanmal Bookstores.
26 Feb - Passion for Fashion From Shawls to Shoes. From Bags to Boots. Fashion designers may sometimes be overlooked as artists, but we, at TWINGE-SHJ recognize them as artists and wish to showcase them.
Come and meet the region's very own Calvin Kleins and Coco Channels. We will be showing some of their designs in a short fashion show, followed by an opportunity to chat with the designers about their work.
TwingeSHJ will also be allowing designers to showcase their designs and fashions for Abayas, to Jewelery and Shoes.
Selling of all Fashion Items at the festival is allowed.
27 Feb - Reels of Sharjah At the TWINGE International Film Festival all cinematographic works are welcome.
Come and enjoy films created by people who share a lot with you. The city you live in, the places you go to, and the people you meet. Enjoy a different perspective on things with some of the short movies that will be on show at TWINGESHJ.

Our friends from Dubomedy will curate and manage a wonderful mix of English and Arabic language comedy performances that will ensure side-splitting laughter from the audience.
1 Mar - Rhythm Sessions The local music talent is abundant and there will never be enough outlets for all of them.
At TWINGE-SHJ we hope to give a platform for these musicians, singers and composers to come forward and entertain in a more interactive environment. Visitors will have the chance not only to listen to the great music that these artists have to offer, but to interact with them in a Q&A session about their art, their work and their inspirations. They get to know, not only the music, but the artists themselves.
